V1 2 shields 2 pin antenna rev 1 2 printed on the board will need the following code.
Rfid garage door opener sketch.
The robotgeek rfid garage door opener kit comes with the rfiduino v1 2.
You will need to make sure the code is adjusted for your rfiduino hardware.
We are going to bridge a connection in the opener switch via a robotgeek relay board initiating the door opening as if you had pressed the button.
This code will work for any digital output device such as relays leds buzzers and more.
A case for the antenna such as the pactec wp2r enclosure if the antenna will be mounted outside.
A garage door opening system with an opener switch tied in.
In this project i will use an rfid tag and an arduino to open a garage door when an authorized tag is sensed.
Using a low level rfid component is a fairly complicated task so we are using a breakout board that does the low level reading and transmits the tag code via serial pins.
In this project we will be using the power of rfid to tap into your garage door opening system.
You can find this sketch under file examples rfiduino rfiduino demo2 lockbox.
Optional all of the necessary electronics are included in the rfid garage door opener kit but you can mix and match parts as you see fit of course.
